thank you

Express gratitude with as few breaths as possible. It goes, “Thank you _____, thank you _____, …”

I say, “Thank you trees, thank you sky, thank you yellow, thank you love, thank you coffee, thank you rudeness, thank you noise…” gratitude for whatever is the next word that comes out of my mouth – yes, this exercise requires breath and a lot of it – and I keep going well beyond the first and second time I think I can’t think of any other things. I keep going until I have refound my center (and then I express gratitude for that, and breath, and heart, and smart…) .
